The Executive Director of the Jaén San Ignacio Bagua Special Project visited the Province of Rodríguez de Mendoza in order to strengthen agricultural activities between the Jaén San Ignacio Bagua Special Project and local authorities of this Province of the Amazonas Region.
Arch. Carlos Iván Vargas Regalado stated that; This meeting is made possible thanks to the coordination carried out with the Mayor of the Province of Rodríguez de Mendoza, Mr. Nilser Tafur Peláez, the Director of the Office of Planning, Budget and Monitoring of the PEJSIB, Eng. Walter Antonio Tuesta Torres, the district mayors members of the Schocol Valley commonwealth, among other authorities, also participated in the meeting.
During their speech, the Executive Director and the Budget Director of the PEJSIB provided details on the status of the Project "Creation of the Water Service for Irrigation in the Sectors of the Schochol Valley", a request made by the mayors of the commonwealth made up of the Districts of Limabamba, Chirimoto, Santa Rosa, Totora and Milpúc, being of great interest for the development of agriculture in the area.
Subsequently, the Executive Director, Arq. Carlos Iván Vargas Regalado and the Provincial Mayor, Mr. Nilser Tafur Peláez, raised the need to sign a framework agreement for inter-institutional cooperation and at the same time agreed to form a technical working group to be held in January of next year, in which officials from all the technical areas of the PEJSIB will be present in order to include and identify productive and irrigation projects.
