π Tender Overview
It is recommended to take corrective measures to guarantee the continuity and quality of the educational projectFist. - The Comptroller General of the Republic warned that the work of improvement of educational services in the I.E.P. 70475 San Juan Bautista de la Salle, in the province of Melgar, Puno region, continues in execution despite having defeated the contractual term.
This project, in charge of the District Municipality of Santa Rosa, has an investment of more than S/ 11 million and seeks to improve learning conditions for 1,763 students.
The project includes the construction of classrooms for primary level, computer rooms, library, laboratory, recreational and sports spaces, as well as the acquisition of furniture and educational equipment. In addition, it contemplates the training of teachers and parents to strengthen educational quality in the region.
According to the Concurrent Control Report No. 003-2025-OCI/0462-SCC, it was identified that the entity allows the contractor to continue the work without supervision after the expiration of the contract, which could affect its real culmination and commissioning.
It was also noted that the work does not have a budget certification for the payment of the valuation corresponding to December 2024, which generates the risk of incurring additional payments for effective legal interest. In addition, it was warned that the entity has not supervised the contractor for the delay in the execution, which could affect the correct administration of public resources.
Another risk detected is that the update of the information of the work in the Infobras system is partial, which affects transparency and limits the access of citizens to key information about its progress.
Given this situation, the Comptroller General recommended that the responsible entity take preventive and corrective measures to guarantee the completion of the work and the fulfillment of its educational purpose. Citizens can access the full report at www.gob.pe/contraloria.
