The Municipality of San Borja inaugurated this Saturday November 5 the decentralized video surveillance module located at the intersection of Guardia Civil avenue and Boulevard de la Literatura street to strengthen the response capacity of the Municipal Serenazgo in the event that events occur criminal. This module allows -priority- the visualization of the 20 cameras located in the police sector 1 of San Borja. For this 8 screens monitored in real time are used from Monday to Sunday. It also has a droneport from where the 5 high-tech teams that patrol the district aerially are maneuvered. Mayor Alberto Tejada members of the Municipal Council community officials and representatives of the Neighborhood Boards of subsectors 1A 1B and 1C which correspond to police sector 1 were present at the ceremony. This is the ninth decentralized module in operation adding to those already operational in the San Juan Masas urbanization the Parque del Nio the Javier Prado and Plumereros parks Angamos avenue Joaqun Madrid avenue Primavera avenue and Jirn Domnguez implemented in the period 2020-2022. Thanks to this intervention the capacity to respond to incidents is accelerated and direct communication is established with the San Borja Operations Center COSB and the National Police. In addition to the images from the video surveillance cameras and drones you can see in this new location the record of the 17 cameras located in the patrol cars of the Municipal Serenazgo.
