The Comptroller General of the Republic warned the non-application of penalty for S / 343 112 for work including in the construction of the laboratory of the Faculty of Electrical Mechanics of the National Agrarian University of La Selva (Unas), the supervisor agreed despite the fact that the construction was not 100% completed, the mechanical ventilation facilities were missing, doors, fire systems, among other works.
According to Concurrent Control Report No. 010-2023-OCI/0226-SCC in the metalworking and welding laboratory, the installation of ducts for air extraction was missing. Likewise, no grilles were installed for the simple discharge of air from the ventilation channels, doors need to be placed in the manufacturing laboratory, toilets and passageways.
Other unfinished works are the floors that lack finishes, pipes and accessories that were not installed for the fire water system, the fire cabinets also do not have glass doors as indicated by the plans, which would make it impossible for this system to operate.
On the other hand, deficient work was noted in the installation of electrical outlets, in the painting of blocks D and C, cracks in the laboratory tables and holes in the concrete slab of the pump room located above the water cistern for domestic consumption.
Despite the deficiencies and unfinished work, the entity formed a committee to receive the work. According to the approved technical file, this project has an investment of S / 48 642 163 and seeks to benefit 3557 students of the National Agrarian University of La Selva.
The Comptroller's Office recommended the owner of the entity to adopt the corresponding corrective actions and guarantee the purpose of this project. The report is published in the Control Report Finder.
