The management of the provincial mayor Ing. Marx Fuentes is committed to the safety of our community. That is why we began the "ACQUISITION OF VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM, EQUIPMENT AND OTHER COMPLEMENTARY ASSETS" of the Provincial Municipality of Leoncio Prado.
Since 2018, we have had a video surveillance service in our city, but these were not maintained, causing the cameras to deteriorate. Currently, less than 8 cameras are operating in the city, out of a total of 45 cameras.
Now, we are taking a big step with this project that aims to acquire cutting-edge technology to renew and put our video surveillance system into full operation. We began disassembling the cameras and replacing all components, from cameras to monitoring centers and fiber optic networks.
With an investment of more than S/. 1'473,399.51, this project includes the renovation of 45 cameras, two of them high definition at strategic points in the city to view vehicle license plates. This is a firm step towards modernizing and supporting security in our province.
The current management has a solid commitment to the protection and well-being of all residents. Together, we build a great province!
