The Central Public Procurement – PERU COMPRAS, at the request of the Ministry of Health – Minsa, made available to all citizens, health sector personnel and other experts, a draft Approval Sheet for a digital non-refrigerated centrifuge for 24 tubes, with a fixed-angle rotor, which is in the public consultation stage.
Those interested can provide their opinions through the website where the pre-publication is located, until January 22, 2024.
As part of the public consultation process, on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, the Technical Tables for Public Discussion will be held to discuss the content of the draft Approval Sheet for digital unrefrigerated centrifuge for use in clinical laboratories. These virtual activities will have two schedules: at 9:30 a.m., aimed at public entities, and at 2:30 p.m. aimed at suppliers and the interested public.
A centrifuge is laboratory equipment typically used to separate components from blood and perform multiple tests and treatments. This device has the capacity to process 24 tubes, with a fixed-angle rotor.
The approval of this product, in charge of the Minsa, will facilitate the preparation of requirements for health establishments and regional health directorates and managements.
As the governing body of its sector, the Minsa will approve and publish the aforementioned Homologation Sheet and make it available to all public entities that need to acquire the centrifuge, within the framework of the State Procurement Law.
