The Ministry of Production Produce through the National Fisheries Health Organization Sanipes informs that its accredited Callao-based laboratories participated and satisfactorily passed the Expansion of scope and Fund update processes which means continuous improvement and compliance with what is established within the guidelines of the Accreditation Directorate of the National Institute of Quality INACAL-DA the accrediting entity of Peru. For this reason the Bioassay and Microscopy Laboratory LBM accredited one more test method Detection and count of helminth eggs which will be carried out in the matrices of drinking water and ice Also the Laboratory of Microbiology and Molecular Biology LMB accredited one more matrix in the scope of the test method Detection of Vibrio cholerae this matrix is that of fish both for its fresh refrigerated and frozen presentations. With this objective achieved a greater diversity of accredited methodologies can be provided in different matrices which reinforces the commitment to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System. Likewise being an accredited laboratory under the guidelines of the NTP-ISOIEC 170252017 and the INACAL-DA guidelines implies responsibility and constant vigilance of the validity of the accredited methodologies according to what is established in the DA -acr-01P General Accreditation Procedure. In this sense the Laboratory of Microbiology and Molecular Biology LMB satisfactorily passed the process of Background update of the methodology Enumeration of Staphylococcus coagulase positive ISO 6888-1 2021 in the matrices of Refrigerated fishery products frozen and processed bivalve molluscs cephalopods gastropods and crustaceans. There are 18 accredited methods distributed in 12 microbiological methods and 1 molecular method in the Laboratory of Microbiology and Molecular Biology 1 bioassay method and 2 microscopy methods in the Bioassay and Microscopy Laboratory and 2 instrumental methods in the Physical Chemistry Laboratory. The tests that are carried out are part of the work of Sanipes of official control and supervision of the products that are going to be marketed inside and outside the country guaranteeing their innocuousness in safeguarding public health.
