📋 Tender Overview
The Ministry of Transport and Communications, through Provias Nacional, issues the call for CP-SM-22-2024-MTC/20-1 for the contracting of the general service of installation of modular bridges Junin, package 07 and thus, improve the conditions of vehicular and pedestrian transitability on the PE-5S route, located in the regions of Junin and Ucayali. This procedure is published on the platform of the Electronic System of State Contracts (SEACE) with a reference value of S/ S/ 7794,998.60. To date, this procedure is in the stage of formulation of queries and observations. According to the published schedule, the award of the contract is estimated for the first week of next November.
This intervention includes the installation of five steel structure bridges. The Shicapaja (42.67 m), Tyontikiari (33.53), Jergon (24.38 m) and Mayapo (94.48 m) bridges will be located between kilometers 5 and 22, within the department of Junin; and finally the Puletal bridge (45.72 m) located in the department of Ucayali. These new modular bridges are part of the Provias Nacional bridge program; they will have a 4.20 meter roadway. Likewise, with the commissioning of these bridges, vehicular traffic will be preserved in the sectors where they will be built, at all times of the year, especially during the time of increased river flow or the activation of ravines, especially during the rainy season.
The road will integrate the native Ashaninka communities in the province of Satipo (Junin) with the rest of the country. This will improve the socio-economic activities of these regions, in addition to improving connectivity and the transportation of cargo and passengers that transit this route. Provias Nacional reaffirms its commitment to continue working to improve the transitability conditions of the non-concessioned National Road Network and ensure progress in the execution of works and services under the responsibility of the entity, for the benefit of all citizens.
