In order to strengthen and update their knowledge in order to carry out their work in an optimal manner, the Institutional Technical Team Unit of the Code of Criminal Procedure (UETI-CPP), met in Canete the administrators of the Criminal Modules of the 35 Superior Courts of Justice of the country.
The meeting, which marks a milestone as it is the first to be held in person after the crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, comes at a significant moment for the Judiciary, which commemorates its bicentennial.
During her speech during these three days, the president of the criminal UETI, Dr. Elvia Barrios Alvarado, highlighted the importance of resuming face-to-face training spaces, underlining the need for this type of meetings for the continuous improvement of judicial services.
"This meeting allows us to address issues necessary for the improvement of the services provided and gives us the opportunity to interact with the experiences and knowledge of all the Administrators and administrative staff of the country," he said.
The main objective of this meeting was to share experiences, identify common challenges and work together towards effective solutions. From the management of the judicial office to the implementation of computer systems, the purpose is to improve the judicial system, from the criminal area of the Judiciary, for the benefit of society.
During the meeting, the 140 participants addressed issues such as the responsibilities and implications in the administration of PpR 0086, the program to improve criminal justice services in Peru, the efficient management of hearings, among others.
The organization of the "V Meeting of Administrators of the Penal Modules 2024" was possible thanks to the work of the UETI penal team, which made an effort to make this meeting an important experience for all participants. As the host venue, the support of the Superior Court of Cañete, through its president, Dr. Manuel Dávila Paredes, stands out.
