π Tender Overview
The second permanent forum meeting for discussion of public policies for civil aviation workers promoted debate on operating conditions and the application of tools that favor professional training in the airport sector. The meeting, held on Tuesday (19), at the headquarters of the Ministry of Ports and Airports, was led by the National Secretariat of Civil Aviation (SAC) and was attended by representative of Infraero, National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac), airlines, concessionaires, unions and workers federations.
At the meeting, a work plan proposed for the 2025/2026 biennium included three actions: infrastructure guarantee flow for workers, professional training plan and transportation of hazardous materials.
The Forum is in the ripening phase and the idea is to maintain the flow of meetings to fulfill its consultative function and assist the Ministry of Ports and Airports to build public policies that make Brazilian aviation advance, explained SAC Investment Director, Luiza Deusdara.
The training and training of workers in the air sector were pointed out as challenges. There is currently a demand for professionals - such as pilots, commissioners, traffic controllers and auxiliary air transport service providers - for airport service. One of our goals is to bring the federal government closer to the sector to understand the real need for training and set up a civil aviation training plan, explains Julia Lopes, planning and promotion director of SAC.
Improvements in working conditions were also addressed by union representatives. The role of the Ministry of Ports and Airports is to promote the dialogue between the different actors so that we have an increasingly appropriate environment, ensuring operational safety and efficiency in the provision of airport services, concluded the National Secretary of Substitute Civil Aviation, Clarissa Barros.
The next permanent forum meeting is scheduled for November, also at the headquarters of the Ministry of Ports and Airports in Brasilia.
