📋 Tender Overview
In order to meet the needs of technical assistance and forest training for the mass installation of plantations of native forest species and therefore ensure the conservation of forests for future generations, the District Municipality of Huarmac Environmental Supervision and Management trained the farmers and members of the decentralized forest nurseries located in the hamlets of Lanchepampa (bad water sector), Santa Teresa and Trigal, for the corresponding installation of forest plantations such as Higueron, Aliso, Tara, Andino Cedar, as well as exotic plants (pine, eucalyptus, cypress, willow) and fruit trees (Granadilla and Maracuya).
These actions are carried out with the objective that the community members acquire the knowledge and techniques that apply to the forests - the most relevant being the practice of pruning of the pines, its influence on the development and quality of wood, and as Preventive measure against forest fires - in order to improve and/or maintain its usefulness for the benefit of the inhabitants of the area. Specifying that to date near 45 mil plantones are being distributed to the final field in these hamlets.
