Decolmation in carriagewayThe District Municipality of Canchaque, within the framework of the maintenance and improvement activities of the road infrastructure caused by the very nature of the rain, continues to work the process of decolmation of the carriageways using the municipal frontal charger. This action has as its main objective the cleaning and conditioning of access routes, allowing a better transitability of vehicles and guaranteeing the safety of drivers and pedestrians.
Decolmage aims to eliminate accumulated material (mud, earth, stones and other debris) in the giggins and margins of the carriageways. This work contributes to the correct circulation of rainwater, avoiding the obstruction of drains and possible floods in the most vulnerable areas of the different annexes.
These works will improve transitability, making the roads more accessible to vehicles that circulate in the sector, in addition; The withdrawal of rubble and earth allows a safer circulation, reducing the risks of accidents.
The District Municipality of Canchaque reaffirms its commitment to the constant improvement of the living conditions of the population, and will continue to work on the maintenance and decolmation of rural roads to promote greater connectivity and safety in the court sectors.
