A group of students from the 2nd Course of the Environmental Engineering career of the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the National University of Pilar visited Wednesday March 22 the area of works of the future Coastal Defense of Pilar. The technical tour which was carried out within the framework of the commemoration of World Water Day began with an educational talk at the university facilities to later move to the construction area where they were able to meet in situ the progress on each work front. Likewise future professionals learned about the construction techniques used and the technology applied to this type of construction. The guides also provided details regarding the activities carried out around the environmental social and safety aspects of the work components that also make up said project. The entourage was accompanied by the Msc. Mara Luisa Lions and Lic. Hugo Encina Professors and was assisted by Engineers Hugo Ciotti and Eng. Jos Zaldvar from the CTC Consortium and Eng. Liza Chamorro from the Supervision of the Ministry of Public Works and Communications MOPC. .
