Now the Election Commission of Pakistan will float tenders to select the Electronic Voting Machines said Minister for Science and Technology Shibli Faraz after signing of the Electoral Reforms Bill 2021 Islamabad.According to the Minister already the Election Commission has constituted three committees including a technical committee to float the international tenders in the given timeline.The government has taken bold decisions and Prime Minister Imran Khan is confident that 2023 elections will be carried out using the Electronic Voting Machines Shibli Faraz added.Maintaining transparency in election process and keeping it non-controversial through use of technology is the promise and part of the PTIs manifesto.
