Now goes the start for youth who are going to have summer jobs as a fisherman.Now youth fishing is underway. This is a golden opportunity for young people to gain an insight into the fishing industry and hopefully this will give them the taste to choose this as a profession. Given the corona situation it is good to see that this summer job still stands as an offer to the young says Minister of Fisheries and Seafood Odd Emil Ingebrigtsen.The Youth Fishing Scheme applies to the entire country from the 15th of June until the 7th of August. So far 196 young people across the country have signed up.Even though the season has started it is still possible to sign up. Many have shown interest this year as well but I encourage even more to register. This is a good opportunity to get good work experience this summer says Ingebrigtsen.There are new requirements this year that apply to all anglers. If a vessel is using a vessel that is not registered on the vessel this must be registered in the Small Boat Register with the Rescue Company or in the Ship Register. The registration number from the Small Boat Register with the Rescue Company or in the Ship Register must be registered on banknote.
