Silos that are in assembly process have a capacity to store 60,000 tons of clean grains, which will increase the capacity of the terminal from 25,000 to 85,000 tons, facilitating greater efficiency in merchandise management.
Currently, electromechanical mechanisms and the conveyor belt are being installed for, in the coming months, start operations. In this modern port infrastructure, two continuous grain downloaders, advanced technology that will significantly accelerate the boat discharge process will also be installed, as it will reduce waiting times and improve the competitiveness of the port.
These improvements are part of stage 3 of the project and will position the port of Callao as the most efficient grain terminal in South America. 2.13 hectares of pavements were also built and important improvements are carried out in the access door for general load, which will allow optimizing the circulation and flow of goods in the area.
