📋 Tender Overview
Released on September 21, 2026
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2026 Saskatchewan Volunteer Medal.
Much of what is great about living in our province is made better by enthusiastic volunteers - from our hockey rinks to the Roughriders, from community choirs to symphony orchestras and from local 4-H clubs to the Canadian Western Agribition, Lieutenant Governor Bernadette McIntyre said. When people excel at something that is so valuable to our way of life, they deserve special recognition. I urge all our citizens to consider nominating an exceptional volunteer in their community for the Saskatchewan Volunteer Medal.
The Saskatchewan Volunteer Medal was established in 1995 to formally recognize the selfless devotion of the provinces volunteers and role models to the people of Saskatchewan.
Individuals or groups are encouraged to nominate current or former long-term residents of Saskatchewan who go above and beyond for their community through acts of volunteerism.
Nominations will be received until October 31, 2026. Online nominations are encouraged, but nominations will also be accepted by mail, courier or in person.
