PRESS RELEASE
The Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan and the Minister of Development, Public Works and Administration, Cseke Attila, participated today, July 11, in the inauguration of the new nursery in the Rogerius district, Oradea municipality, an investment made by the National Investment Company within the national Program for the construction of new nurseries Sfanta Ana, carried out by the Ministry of Development.
The value of the investment is almost 12 million lei, and the new unit offers modern care and early education conditions for 40 children, contributing to the expansion of the infrastructure for preschool education and reducing the shortage of places in nurseries.
The project, of the small nursery type, has a built-up area of approximately 1,340 square meters and includes four group rooms, four bedrooms, a dining room, its own kitchen, a laundry room, a doctors office, administrative spaces and all the facilities necessary for the operation of a modern nursery.
The building was designed with an emphasis on energy efficiency, being partially powered by energy from renewable sources through photovoltaic and solar panels installed on the roof.
The new nursery on Aluminei street is one of the two units financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan in the municipality of Oradea. The second investment, located on Ion Irimescu Street, will have a capacity of 110 places, strengthening the network of early education services in the municipality.
The Government of Romania continues to invest in educational infrastructure, with the objective of ensuring the access of as many children as possible to modern education and early care services and to support families through the development of quality public facilities.
