President Shavkat Mirziyoev got acquainted with the activities of the Automotive Engineering School established under the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute.
Here, cooperation has been established with BYD Uzbekistan Factory and ADM Jizzakh enterprises on the training and employment of qualified specialists.
In the School of Engineering, educational programs in four educational areas specializing in the field of transportation are organized based on a new approach. In particular, students who have completed the second year with high marks will receive a two-year dual education on modern educational platforms developed based on the requirements of the BYD plant. Students also receive practical training in direct cooperation with the factory, which allows them to obtain a special job referral certificate.
In short-term training courses, job candidates, factory workers and unemployed youth are taught the professions they are interested in. BYD car production mini-conveyor is also established here. The production shop has welding, painting, assembly and quality control departments.
Special rooms have been established for electric car and charging station structure, electric car service, industrial and programming engineering, cost and reverse engineering.
There is one rule in the global automotive industry: a company that does not analyze its competitors cannot develop.
For the first time in this engineering school in Jizzakh, skills such as technical-analytical comparison of products, cost modeling, production optimization, comparison of processes with global standards are taught.
The School of Engineering is open not only to students, but also to young people and professionals who want to work in the field. Training programs, initial professional training courses and practical training modules for entrepreneurs are organized here. Advanced specialists and experienced engineers of production enterprises actively participate in them.
The main goal of the school is to introduce the student to the practical environment before going to the workplace as a ready employee. As a result, graduates become mature and competitive specialists who fully meet market requirements.
