The Publication Also Examines SocietyS Preparedness For Crises And Emergency Situations, Issues Of Cyber And Information Security, The Basics Of Civil Resistance And The Role Of Citizens In Ensuring State Security. The System Of National Security And Universal Defense Of Lithuania, Legal Regimes, Main Security Documents And The Structure And Functions Of The Lithuanian Army In Times Of Peace And War Are Presented Separately. This Textbook Is Intended To Develop A Mature, Critical-Thinking Citizen Who Is Able To Recognize Threats And Take Responsibility For State Security. Informational, Hybrid And Cyber Attacks By Russia Against The Baltic States Have, Unfortunately, Already Become Part Of Our Everyday Life. Social Networks Often Bring Even More Confusion Into A Young PersonS Life, So The Best Antidote To Disinformation Is Clear And Consistent, Often Repeated Information. Fighting Disinformation Is A Joint Work Of All Of Us, So I Believe That This The Textbook Will Help A Young Person Acquire The Necessary Knowledge Today, Said Minister Of National Defense Robertas Kaunas. For This Purpose, The Action Plan Prepared At The Same Time Foresees Over 30 Specific Measures That Strengthen Civic Education And Increase The Physical Activity Of Schoolchildren.
