The restoration of the Spaarne bridge is planned for Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 June in the evening and night. It is expected that the bridge will be back in service from 30 June and that trains and boats will be able to pass the bridge again. The Spaarne bridge has been in malfunction since 12 June.Extra travel timePassengers on the Amsterdam Sloterdijk and Haarlem route can travel with buses operated by NS. The work starts around 2115 and lasts until early in the morning 0515. NS calls on passengers to consult the Travel Planner before departure and to take into account extra travel time of approximately 30 minutes. The Intercity on the route Amsterdam Haarlem Leiden will be diverted via Schiphol.Unfortunately restoration is not possible without a decommissioning for train traffic. It is not possible to open the bridge manually in the meantime. That is why boats still have to circumnavigate at this time.
