The members of the Provincial Council will decide on the future of Maastricht Aachen Airport. The Executive Board believes it is important that various options including all underlying information are on the table as a basis for final decision-making. A probing memorandum with an extensive Basic Document has been drawn up for this purpose.In the Basic Document four future scenarios are compared against eight public values health mobility nature and landscape space economy regional anchoring climate and safety. Extensive attention is also paid to the feasibility and realization economic legal financial spatial organizational and financial of each of the four scenarios.The building blocks for this document include a social cost-benefit analysis SCBA a market survey and benchmark financial calculations substantive explorations source documents figures interview reports and incoming letters.
