We strongly decline that our organization would fire any civil servant or contract worker for critical opinion or terminate a contract. The accusation of this by Mr Coenrady in the media is therefore absolutely incorrect. On the contrary a critical attitude is appreciated.The reason for dismissal is different our systems contain confidential data of Gelderland residents companies and organisations. We must be able to trust that people who work for us handle this with care. That was no longer the case with Mr Coenrady. He has in his own words taken hundreds of documents home and partly made them public. Therefore the contract with him has been terminated.Air quality NijmegenLocal residents are very concerned about the air quality in the Nijmegen West Weurt area. The province has therefore recently carried out an inventory of companies that fall under the supervision of the province. This report together with the inventory of Nijmegen provides insight into emissions from companies in this area. Local residents have expressed their concerns as a result of this and have indicated that they also want to view the underlying documents. We understand that and we are working on it. Last week local residents were also promised that these documents would be made public. The municipality of Nijmegen has asked for coordination on this with us and with the Nijmegen Region Environment Agency.
