The province of North Holland is making 1 million available this year for sports associations that want to make their accommodation more sustainable. Grant applications can be submitted from 15 February.The subsidy scheme for the sustainability of sports accommodations in North Holland was a great success in 2021. That is why the province will make an extra 500000 available in 2022 from the Economic Recovery and Sustainability Fund. In 2021 the subsidy was only intended for small savings measures such as solar panels insulation and LED lighting. This year money can be requested for more measures such as for adjustments to the roof construction for solar panels HR glass and equipment for heat and cold recovery. In 2021 we already helped 54 North Holland sports accommodations in 3 months. Its great that we can help even more clubs this yearIn addition to sports associations management foundations of sports accommodations may also apply for a subsidy this year. The amount to be applied for will increase from 10000 to 25000. As in 2021 the subsidy amount awarded may not exceed 50 of the total amount required for the sustainability measures.
