Netherlands Delivery Draft Tender

This summer the draft EIA plan for Search areas for manure processing draft EIA plan for Manure would be presented to the Provincial Executive after which it would be embedded in a draft Manure Implementation Agenda. This search for manure processing locations is related to the approach to manure in a Brabant food chain 3.0 which is smart valuable circular and connected. That is why it was decided earlier this year to first draw up a Manure Implementation Agenda. This should show what the consequences of circular agriculture are for the amount of manure treatment and the type of manure treatment installations required and what these consequences mean for spatial adaptability.Elaboration of the Mest Implementation AgendaThe first elaboration of the Manure Implementation Agenda shows that it influences the various criteria used in the assessment of relatively suitable locations and search areas for manure processing and the weighting of these criteria. The delivery of the draft EIA plan for Manure has therefore been postponed until it is clear what the consequences of the Manure Implementation Agenda are. Environmental qualityThe new Executive Board has confirmed in an addendum to the administrative agreement that they also opt for care and clarity when it comes to new developments using circular agriculture as the starting point the Agriculture Food 2030 policy framework and the Manure Implementation Agenda are being drawn up. Within these frameworks an EIA plan is then carried out together with the regions in order to reach regional agreements about fertilizer processing locations and the underlying conditions. With the Environmental Vision and various policy rules the province guarantees the quality of the environment in relation to manure processing.
