GIROs HASTUS software has been selected by Amsterdam city transport operator GVB to support all its network and service planning crew and vehicle scheduling and operations management including the integration of electric buses into its fleet.Operating 203 buses 200 trams 90 metro trains and 18 ferries GVB has almost 5 000 employees and carry an average of 875 000 passengers a day and up to a million passengers on the busiest days.The GVB deployment is claimed to be the eighth HASTUS implementation in the Netherlands.
