Nepal Introduces Biometric Tender

On 9th July Nepal introduced its very own biometric National Identity Card initiating a further step towards development.National Identity Card and Civil Registration Department Director-General Deepak Kafle handed over ID card to PM Oli in function at Baluwatar. Development of the national ID card aims at ensuring the right of every citizen of Nepal. At the time of applying for civil services this card will be considered as one of the essential documents.According to Kafle the department is handing over ID cards to all Nepal dignitaries under a campaign to distribute 117000 ID cards to the pubic in the first phase of the project. All citizens will receive the card in the next two years he assured.
