On October 10, 2024, Ambassador to Nauru Lu Jin led a team to conduct research at the Nauru National Hospital and held discussions with Beryl Scotti, Permanent Secretary of the Nauru Ministry of Health and other leaders.
Ambassador Lyu Jin said that health is an important part of government services and is related to the health and well-being of the people. Through this survey, the Embassy has a better understanding of the basic situation and difficulties of Nauru's medical institutions. The Embassy is willing to communicate closely with Nauru and cooperate in hospital infrastructure, medical staff training, medical equipment and other aspects to jointly improve the level of Nauru's health and health services.
