The general cargo ship Vestis Isle delivered the rails which will be used to upgrade a section of the Walvis Bay to Kranzberg railway line.This was the second consignment of rails delivered to the port in July 2019 6679 tonnes of steel rails arrived at the gateway. A final 5821-tonnes shipment should be delivered in March 2020.
