📋 Tender Overview
The Senior Management of CORPAC met with the District Mayor of Vista Alegre, Roger Sarmiento, to analyze the future of the administrative and operational management of the Nasca Aerodrome, which is built on municipal land but whose airport services are in charge of the Peruvian Corporation of Airports and Commercial Aviation.
The meeting, held at the institutional headquarters of CORPAC, in Callao, allowed the authorities of both institutions to agree to carry out a technical visit to the Nasca Aerodrome, in order to verify air operations, evaluate the quality of the services provided to aircraft and passengers, as well as analyze the commercial development of the air terminal.
For his part, the president of the Board of Directors of CORPAC, Freddy Solano Gonzalez, highlighted the importance of signing an agreement with the District Municipality of Vista Alegre, which allows clearly defining the airport administration mechanisms, as well as an adequate distribution of income, aimed at covering the costs associated with the provision of airport services.
Considered the third airport with the highest number of air operations nationwide, the Maria Reiche Airport in Nasca is the starting point for the flight over the enigmatic Nasca lines. By 2025, more than 180,000 passengers would have been transported per year and more than 35,000 air operations would have been recorded, including landings and takeoffs.
