The measure seeks to reduce congestion, organize traffic and guarantee better routes for urban transportation.The Provincial Municipality of Piura continues to coordinate with transporters and with the companies responsible for the works carried out by the Regional Government, in the center of the city and on Don Bosco Avenue, to enable temporary roads and improve vehicular circulation while the work lasts. The measure seeks to reduce congestion, organize traffic and guarantee better routes for urban transportation.
Through the Transportation and Urban Mobility Management, the provincial commune held a work meeting in which alternatives were evaluated to maintain road connectivity and minimize the difficulties faced daily by drivers, transporters and pedestrians.
During the meeting, it was agreed to prioritize the provision of temporary access in the intervened sectors, in order to maintain passability and reduce the impact of the works on the movement of the population until the completion of the projects.
The Territorial Development and Investment Management Management also participated in the meeting, which has been articulating actions to ensure that the measures adopted allow for better traffic planning and adequate execution of the works.
The Provincial Municipality of Piura reported that in the coming days a new technical meeting will be held to define the transportation routes that will be prioritized and establish temporary access roads that allow safer and more efficient circulation.
Finally, the commune urged residents, drivers and public transport companies to respect the signage and temporary accesses that are enabled during the execution of the works, in order to prevent accidents and contribute to greater vehicle flow in the city.
