The intervention included the verification of the transporters documentation and vehicle registration, in coordination with inspectors from the Regional GovernmentWith the purpose of strengthening the organization of public transportation and guaranteeing a safe service for citizens, the District Municipality of Castilla, through the Deputy Management of Transportation, Transit and Roads, carried out a preventive operation at the Castilla Land Terminal.
The action was aimed at verifying that the units that provide transportation services are duly registered and authorized to operate within the terminal, as well as preventing the presence of informal vehicles that do not comply with the established provisions.
During the intervention, municipal staff provided guidance to the transporters and urged them to comply with the documentation required for the development of their activities, including having a valid SOAT, a valid drivers license and other requirements necessary for responsible provision of the service.
As part of the operation, vehicle registration was also carried out, a procedure that allows the identification and registration of the license plates of the intervened units, contributing to the strengthening of transport control and inspection actions.
This work was carried out in a coordinated manner with transportation inspectors from the Regional Government, consolidating the articulated work between institutions to promote better conditions of safety, formality and order for the benefit of users.
Through these interventions, the District Municipality of Castilla seeks to consolidate a culture of compliance with transport regulations, promoting formality and improving safety conditions for transporters and users.
