The District Municipality of Canoas de Punta Sal and the Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism (DIRCETUR) Tumbes coordinated the actions to launch the whale season in the mayors office.
The promotion of this tourist activity will begin in the coming days in the city of Lima, while the official development of the season in the Tumbes region will take place in the month of July.
Prior to the main dates, training sessions will be held for local tour operators, with the aim of ensuring the correct and orderly provision of tourist services.
Finally, at the work meeting the state of the tourism infrastructure and the technical progress of the Local Tourism Development Plan for the benefit of the sector were evaluated.
