Action framed in the Impulsa Turismo strategy, aimed at strengthening the formalization, competitiveness and sustainability of the tourism sector in the San Martin region.With the objective of strengthening the formalization and quality of tourism services, the San Martin Regional Government, through the Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism, completed 100% of the Territorial Tourist Registry (RTT) in the district of Moyobamba, achieving significant results in the identification of tourism service providers.
During the process, the technical team registered 115 lodging establishments, 6 categorized restaurants, 8 restaurants motivated to start their categorization process and 23 travel and tourism agencies, generating an updated information base that will contribute to the organization of the sector.
This action is part of the articulated work that DIRCETUR promotes to strengthen the competitiveness of tourism in the region, promoting formalization, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement of tourist services.
Likewise, the institution, in coordination with the Provincial Municipality of Rioja, announced the start of the Territorial Tourist Registry in the district of Rioja, with the purpose of continuing with the collection of information and the identification of tourism providers throughout the region.
