Are you a young graduate interested in international relations? Are you curious to learn more about working in a diplomatic mission and how a Delegation represents the interests and values ??of the European Union in Morocco?
We offer:
Internships of maximum 6 months within the following sections at the EU Delegation to Morocco starting in July 2024.
2 internships within the Politics, Press and Information Section (PPI):
Political Internship :
Main tasks:
Contribute to political reporting on foreign and domestic policy issues in Morocco, as well as on sectoral themes,
Follow the news, contribute to political analysis,
Contribute to the implementation of European policy in Morocco, in all its dimensions,
Preparation of briefings and minutes of meetings,
Contribute to the preparation and monitoring of technical exchanges as well as visits by European officials to Morocco,
Participate in meetings with representatives of civil society, journalists, academics, participation in seminars, etc.
Assist in the preparation and follow-up of meetings with the member states of the European Union.
Press and Information Internship :
Main tasks:
Contribute to the design and implementation of the Delegation's communication strategy and ensure the visibility of the Morocco – EU partnership;
Monitor and analyze trends and developments in the information environment in the country (press, social networks, etc.);
Contribute to cultural and public diplomacy activities
Organization and participation in certain events and meetings within and outside the Delegation, in the areas mentioned above, writing of reports;
Contribute to preparing and developing communication tools (including 'community management' and Facebook and Twitter posts and social networks, short films, fact sheets on European programs) on cooperation between the EU and Morocco;
Prepare the daily press review of the Delegation under the supervision of the press officer and thematic press reviews as needed.
We are looking for:
Specific qualifications or prerequisites :
Sense of teamwork
Excellent command of French and English, knowledge of Arabic is an asset
A degree in law, international relations, political science or communication

Important information to read before applying
Before applying, please review the dedicated site as well as the general eligibility criteria for a subsidized internship (Article 8 of Decision ADMIN(2017)28 – Paid internship)
Each selected intern will receive a monthly grant to cover their living expenses. All costs related to travel, obtaining a visa, insurance and accommodation will be the responsibility of the intern.
Applications from ineligible candidates will not be considered. After all applications have been assessed, shortlisted candidates will be contacted and invited for an interview. Unselected candidates will be informed by email. If the selected candidate cannot provide the required documents, their application will be rejected.
The internship can only be offered in compliance with local legislation as well as the legislation of the country of origin.
Citizens of EU member states:
must provide proof that they will be covered against the risk of pandemic and repatriation costs;
must have an entry visa and/or temporary residence permit, where applicable, based on the internship agreement, the duration of the internship and in compliance with local legislation.
