The state of security in the territory of the jurisdiction of the Department of Security Mojkovac during the summer tourist season is very favorable.
Since the beginning of the summer tourist season, the Mojkovac police has been continuously conducting activities on finding weapons, and 10 searches of apartments and other premises have been carried out, three of which are objects used by operationally interesting persons, which resulted in the seizure of 10 weapons, three gas pistols and 505 pieces of ammunition of various types and calibers.
During the "Respect Life – Return Weapons" campaign, citizens voluntarily handed over three firearms, seven bombs and a small amount of ammunition to police in Mojkovac.
Since the beginning of the tourist season, six public gatherings have been held in the area of Mojkovac, which were provided by the officials of the Security Department Mojkovac, which were attended by about 2,000 citizens, and which passed without a single incident.
Based on the security assessment of the members of the Mojkovac Security Department, the actions "Seeker" and "Raid" were carried out, within which 25 persons of interest from a security aspect were controlled and 192 vehicles were inspected and 280 people were inspected.
The state of traffic safety during the summer tourist season in the territory of Mojkovac is very favorable considering that since the beginning of the year no traffic accidents with fatalities have been recorded.
Traffic police filed 31 misdemeanor complaints and issued 420 warrants for payment of fines for violations under the Road Traffic Safety Act. During the increased traffic controls, and within the local actions "Alcohol", mojkovac police found 30 drivers driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, of which 18 were deprived of liberty.
Also, police officers in Mojkovac found 60 vehicles that were technically defective in traffic, and temporarily seized 31 pairs of license plates and excluded the same number of vehicles from traffic.
