The National Center for Personal Data Protection CNPDCP organized a second educational day on the importance of personal data protection for students of the Xth grade of the Petre tefnuc Theoretical Lyceum in Ialoveni. The activity took place within the new school subject - Personal Development Module of Studies - Life Security. Throughout 45 minutes students and teachers were familiar with the concept of private life personal data data subject and direct marketing. The main topic of the educational day has been focused on the protection of personal data and social networking sites. In this context the CNPDCP representative exposed several examples reported by the data subjects regarding the non-compliant processing of personal data on the Internet. In this context the CNPDCP representative spoke to students about the risks they are exposed to when using personal information on social accounts as well as the sanctions applicable to inappropriate processing of personal data.In the second part of the educational day the pupils were involved in a practical test aimed at assessing the perception of the new information they had in the field of personal data protection.
