The course for modernizing the Kamptalbahn are set. In the previous year, the Gobelsburg stop and the tracks between Horn and Rosenburg were modernized, in autumn 2025 the focus of the work is on the north section of the route. The construction program includes the renovation of the Rosenburg and Kamegg stops and the relocation of new tracks between Rosenburg and Gars-Thunau. In order to ensure even more security for road users, further railway crossings are technically secured. The preparatory work has been running since the beginning of August.
From 01.09.2025, 02:00 am 14.12.2025, 02:00 oclock in the Langenlois section to Sigmundsherberg do not drive any trains. The OBB nevertheless offer a reliable range of mobility and set up rail replacement traffic by bus. The buses partially take off at changed times. With bicycles it is not possible to use the rail replacement buses.

Modernization of the Rosenburg stop
The Rosenburg stop is being converted into a contemporary traffic station and the existing waiting room in the listed station building is barrier -free. Low-floor trains hold in Kamegg
