The agenda included technical meetings and specialized tours with Dr. Ruth Shady, director of Execution Unit 003 - Caral Archaeological Zone, and the technical team responsible for the management of the archaeological site, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2009.

During the day, the head of the sector toured the main temple and the sunken circular plaza called amphitheater, in addition to supervising the state of the research and interpretation center of the archaeological site. Likewise, he received information on the progress of archaeological investigations and actions aimed at strengthening the conservation and protection of the Sacred City of Caral, considered one of the oldest civilizations in America.

Issues related to the security of the archaeological zone in the face of constant threats and invasions promoted by land traffickers were also addressed, a situation that puts at risk the integrity of the heritage and the safety of the personnel in charge of its protection.
