The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) organized the Executive Meeting for the Official Presentation of Cajamarca as the Second Pilot of an Intelligent Tourist Destination (DTI), a milestone that marks a new advance towards the modernization and sustainability of tourism in the country.
The meeting was attended by the Vice Minister of Tourism, Aracelly Laca; the manager of Tourism and Culture of the Provincial Municipality of Cajamarca, Fernando Silva; and the manager of Research, Development and Tourism Innovation of SEGITTUR (Spain), Luis Javier Gadea.
Mincetur promotes this project in close coordination with SEGITTUR, a leading institution worldwide, under a methodology based on five strategic axes: governance, innovation, technology, sustainability and accessibility.
