📋 Tender Overview
The Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI) announced, this Monday (2/3), the opening of the training program Strategic Technology Management for ICT Managers. The training was developed for technology leaders who face the challenge of driving digital transformation and implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions in federal agencies. The trail, which was designed in partnership with Serpro, is now available at the Virtual School of Government (EV.G) of the National School of Public Administration (Enap).
Our objective is to accelerate the adoption of these emerging technologies. The implementation of AI requires a keen eye on risk management, data architecture and, especially, on contracting models, explained the Secretary of Digital Government, Rogerio Mascarenhas. According to Rogerio, the initiative aims to strengthen legal and technical security so that managers of the 250 bodies of the Information Technology Resources Management System (SISP) can lead these changes efficiently. By training ICT managers in these skills, the ministrys objective is to strengthen public governance and ensure that investments in technology translate into better and safer services for the population. Leading IT in government today means being a strategic manager of complex projects. This program prepares the professional to plan contracts that are not only technically robust and aligned with ethical and transparency principles, added Mascarenhas.
Focus on Projects and Contracts
With a workload of 99 hours, the learning path is structured around two fundamental axes that reflect the main needs of the sector:
AI and Project Management: explores the particularities that differentiate AI projects from traditional ones, preparing leadership to identify specific challenges and manage the life cycle of these solutions.
Hiring ICT Solutions: focuses on planning, conducting and supervising hiring. The content covers everything from risk analysis to the preparation of Terms of Reference, always in accordance with SGD/ME Normative Instruction no 1.
The training is an initiative of the Brazilian Governments AI Center and is aligned with the goals of the Brazilian Artificial Intelligence Plan (PBIA), which provides for the strengthening of national technological infrastructure and digital sovereignty. Interested servers can register for free on the EV.G portal. The program is self-instructional and offers certification after completing the assessment axes.
