Mexico Sre Opens Tender

After more than 35 years the Passport Office of Naucalpan moves to a new headquarters which doubles its space and increases the capacity of attention to users.The new building located in Forum Naucalpan had an investment of 22 million pesos by the private initiative. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs SRE will disburse monthly an amount for maintenance fee of 13600 pesos plus VAT. The surface almost doubles its space from 528 m2 to 1135.42 m2.The Passport Office extends its service from Monday to Sunday from 800 a.m. to 2000 p.m. with a capacity of up to 800 appointments per day four times more than the previous office which will mean an average capacity of 288000 appointments per year. To achieve this goal the capacity of the workstations was increased from three to four records for biometric data being able to reach up to five if demand requires it.The SRE would have the first Passport Office in a building with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design LEED certification as a way to address the climate crisis and meet the goals of the 2030 agenda.The Passport Office building has an extensive waiting room area with terrace included and has a breastfeeding and childrens play room. The inclusion of the lactation room adheres to the Mexican Standard 025 on Labor Equality and Non-Discrimination reached in January 2023 by the SRE achieving the gold level certification that is the maximum degree that can be obtained.The space for the attention to the general public is provided with modern and illuminated windows which are protected with glass for greater security of applicants and public servants. Likewise it has screens to provide information regarding the passport process and the programs and services of the SRE.In terms of inclusion the Passport Office has an elevator podotactile guide for the visually impaired as well as windows with special and sanitary measures for people with disabilities.Appointments to carry out the passport process in this office may be scheduled through the internet portal httpscitas.sre.gob.mx this being the only electronic site authorized for this purpose which is completely free. Similarly appointments can be scheduled through the Contact Center available at the telephone number 55 8932 4827 from Monday to Sunday from 800 a.m. to 2000 p.m. also free service.Forum Naucalpan is domiciled at Avenida 1 de Mayo No. 120 colonia San Andrs Atoto municipality of Naucalpan de Jurez State of Mexico.
