At Innoprom-2026, Rostelecom and PJSC Chelyabinsk Forging and Press Plant (ChKPZ) entered into a cooperation agreement. The parties plan to implement a set of measures for digitalization and modernization: from joint design and implementation of advanced robotic systems to the creation of corporate competence centers for industrial automation.
Ivan Emelyanov, First Deputy General Director of the Chelyabinsk Forging and Press Plant:
The synergy of the flagship competencies in industrial robotization of ChKPZ, combined with Rostelecoms experience in the field of digital technologies, the Internet of things and big data analytics, will create a unique secure industrial infrastructure covering all the key areas necessary for the creation and operation of a new generation enterprise.
Evgeny Makagonov, director of the Chelyabinsk branch of Rostelecom:
In the Southern Urals, robotization is already becoming a key driver of growth. Our distributed network and digital manufacturing systems competencies enable us to connect many processes, from development to operations, to achieve technology leadership. Rostelecom will make its contribution not only as an integrator that accumulates experience in the implementation and use of robots, but also as a provider of solutions that increase the efficiency of high-tech production.
Using the example of ChKPZ, the Chelyabinsk region can receive impetus for local and interregional development of technological solutions based on Russian robots and automation of production processes.
