Following the decision by the Government of Japan the Japan International Cooperation Agency will dispatch JDR Expert team to the Republic of Mauritius in response to the oil spill from a bulk carrier WAKASHIO.On July 25 a bulk carrier WAKASHIO grounded on the coast of the Republic of Mauritius causing an oil spill since August 6.The team composed of 6 experts will leave Japan on August 10 and give assistance including activities for oil removal on site.
