The company Flexjet which specializes in flights with private planes has chosen our country to register its first Gulfstream G650 type plane in Europe. This reflects the continuous operational growth of this company in our country.This was announced by the Minister for Transport Infrastructure and Capital Projects Aaron Farrugia upon the arrival of the plane at Malta International Airport accompanied by the CEO of Transport Malta TM Brigadier Jeffrey Curmi the Director General in the Directorate of Civil Aviation CAD Captain Charles Pace the CEO of Flexjet Mike Silvestro and the Managing Director Marine Eugne.We are seeing that more companies continue to choose Malta to register their aircraft as we continue to support investors. Through this this industry so important to our country is continuing to strengthen the economy creating new initiatives and generating more opportunities. Although we are already in a strong position in the 9H register the Government is committed to continue promoting our country and growing this industry. This will mean that Malta will continue to establish itself as the jurisdiction of choice in the field of aviation repeated Minister Aaron Farrugia. Since obtaining the Maltese Air Operator Certificate in July 2021 Flexjet has expanded its team and infrastructure in our country including the expansion of the Operational Center with larger offices in TaXbiex. This office will be added to the office in Mayfair London Control Center at Farnborough Airport and an aircraft maintenance facility based in Milan Italy.Our program is well established in the United States and we are pleased to welcome our first Gulfstream G650 to the European fleet a significant investment that is a step forward in our ambitious expansion plans said Marine Eugne European Managing Director of Flexjet.With a 153 annual increase in fleet activity this year this exceptional aircraft will significantly enhance the world-class products we offer.
