The Signal ProjectSignal is a project of Humanity Inclusion - Atlas Logistique which aims to identify the degree of vulnerability and recovery capacity of communities in fragile contexts. It also makes it possible to promote the consideration in humanitarian aid strategies of the populations located in the areas that concentrate the greatest logistical constraints and thus to strengthen their recovery capacity and their resilience.What are local logistics diagnosticsLocal logistics diagnostics are a tool that allows the collection analysis and dissemination of data concerning the capacities of supply chains and transport networks to make the products that the population needs at a local level stable. ie in the most logistically vulnerable areas. Through these analyses humanitarian and government actors have information to improve the implementation of their humanitarian interventions. Through the diagnostic reports the project provides recommendations to improve the resilience of the populations and not to deteriorate the supply chains to give ways to improve them and finally to anticipate the reaction of the supply chains to the risks. in the area displacement of populationsStudy objectivesThe objective and purpose of this assessment is to collect produce and disseminate informationdata on logistics vulnerability to the humanitarian community to improve the impact of their interventions. The assessment focused on the inventory of carriers and means of transport inventory of local civil engineering companies mapping of docking points and the state of telecommunication networks which constitute the deliverables defined following a baseline study on the needs of humanitarian organizations in Mali.
