Four stations, thousands of encountersThe campaign visits four stations: Maastricht, Leiden Central, Breda and Leeuwarden.A meeting place will be set up at each station where travelers can get in touch with each other in an accessible way. Visitors can write a card, leave a message on the pin and pick walls or participate in a Truth or Dare activity.Volunteers hand out buttons, talk to travelers and help set up meetings. The goal is simple: to show that making contact often starts with something small. The campaign will be festively opened at Maastricht station on September 25 with a surprising program element that invites travelers to get in touch with each other. A station is more than a place to change trains. Every day, thousands of people gather at stations.Yet many people travel past each other. That is precisely why stations are a logical place to draw attention to connection. The campaign focuses mainly on young people, but invites everyone to participate.Because loneliness does not affect one specific group;Making contact is something we can all contribute to. Also visible online. In addition to the activities at the stations, the campaign is visible via screens at stations and in trains.Social videos are also being developed that focus on young people.Through Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat, attention is drawn to the message of the campaign and stories, tips and experiences are shared.
