Summary
In May, ProRail carries out various activities in and around Nijmegen. Work is also underway on the train connection between Nijmegen and Roermond (Maaslijn). During the work, no trains will run between s-Hertogenbosch, Oss and Nijmegen and Arnhem, Elst and Nijmegen at various times. During the work, NS will use buses to take travelers to their destinations. NS advises travelers to plan their journey shortly in advance via the NS app and to take additional travel time into account. The app is up to date 10 days before the trip.
The work consists of different phases. Depending on the location of the work, NS will deploy replacement buses at the following times: May 14 and 15 No train traffic to and from Nijmegen May 16 Elst - Nijmegen Nijmegen - s-Hertogenbosch May 17 Nijmegen - s-Hertogenbosch May 18 to 22 Nijmegen - Oss May 23 and 24 Nijmegen - s-Hertogenbosch May 25 to 27 Nijmegen - Oss May 28 Elst - Nijmegen Nijmegen - Oss May 29 No train traffic to and from Nijmegen Please note: from Saturday May 2 to Sunday May 10 and on May 14, 15 and 29, ProRail is working on the train connection between Nijmegen and Roermond (the Maaslijn). Arriva operates on this route. They use buses during the work. These replacement buses are also visible in the NS app.

Improvements for the futureProRail is working on improvements at and around Nijmegen station and on the electrification of the Maaslijn. A new platform will be added in Nijmegen, and there will also be an extra station entrance with bicycle shed on the west side. Various maintenance work also takes place.
