π Tender Overview
The National Cyber Security Center Under The Ministry Of National Defense (Nksc) Is Starting To Implement A New International Project And Is Creating A Cyber Security Consortium (Nbcc) Together With The Nordic And Baltic Countries. It Is A Regional Initiative Supported By The European Union, The Purpose Of Which Is To Strengthen Cyber Security In The Nordic And Baltic Region By Creating A Unified Picture Of Cyber Threats. The Consortium Will Be Headquartered In Copenhagen And Coordinated By The Danish Resilience Agency. Nbcc Unites A Total Of 7 Countries: Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway And Finland. Cyber Threats Ignore National Borders, So Closer Cooperation Between The Countries Of The Region Is Necessary. Common Threat Perception, Common Technological Solutions And Trust-Based Partnership Are The Key To Stronger Resilience Of The Entire Region, Says Deputy Minister Of National Defense Tomas Godliauskas. During The Implementation Of The Project, A Regional Data Sharing Platform Will Be Created. All Participating Countries Will Gain And Share Information About Cyber Threats Observed In Their Countries. This Data Will Be Available To National Cyber Security Centers And Will Contribute To The Implementation Of Appropriate Preventive Measures. In Lithuania, The Project Will Be Implemented By Nksc. The Center Will Expand The Team Of Analysts And Its Members Will Provide Information On Identified Cyber Threats Through The Nbcc Platform, Contribute To The Analysis Of Regional Threats And The Development Of Joint Analytical Products. By Participating In The Nbcc Project, Lithuania Will Not Only Share Relevant Information About Cyber Threats With Other Countries In The Region, But Will Also Strengthen Its Cyber Resilience, Having The Opportunity To Use More Detailed Data On The Biggest Cyber Threats In The Baltic And Nordic Region, Says Nksc Director Antanas Aleknavicius. The Nbcc Will Also Play Another Important Role In Promoting Innovation. The ConsortiumS Platform Will Be Used To Develop Advanced Technologies, Including Artificial Intelligence-Based Solutions. Cooperation Between The Public Sector, Business And Scientific Institutions Will Also Be Strengthened. The Implementation Of The Project Is Expected In 2026-2029. The Project Is Partially Financed By The Program Digital Europe, Its Total Budget Is About 14 Million. Euros.
