π Tender Overview
A new environmental campaign Forest has started. Until December 24. forest control specialists will organize raids in the countrys forests and inspect Christmas tree sales outlets. The aim of the campaign is to protect Christmas trees and the forest from illegal logging before the upcoming winter holidays.Officials from the Department of Environmental Protection AAD will also carry out preventive monitoring of forests throughout the month. As Christmas approaches more and more information is reaching them from foresters civilians about the new stumps of cut trees that are being found and growing. This shows that some people still have a hand in cutting a festive tree on their own without permission although it is strictly forbidden to do so.Environmentalists point out that cutting even one Christmas tree causes significant damage to the forest. It takes not only certain conditions but also time for each tree to grow and form. Spruce usually grows in 60-70 years. We will enjoy a month of arbitrary felling at best and a spruce tree in the forest will delight us for more than a decade. It is important to remember that a private forest owner can cut down a Christmas tree in his own forest but in that case he should have documents proving forest ownership with him.As every year Christmas trees will be available at their points of sale. They are usually traded in the territorial divisions of the State Forest Enterprise supermarkets markets and so on.The AAD recalls that the arbitrary felling of Christmas trees also entails an administrative fine. A natural person who tries to decorate their home illegally would have to pay a fine of 60 to 300 euros and compensation for the damage caused to nature. For a legal entity such a fine ranges from 300 to 600 euros.
